Relationships

I feel that the most lasting real relationship is between Parent and Child. To be precise, relationship between parent and Kid in his/her childhood only. For me all other relationships turned out to be existing for some specific objectives. Some of these objectives could evolved from selfishness.For example , some people brush-up the cold relationship , for their own advantages like to get some information / to pass some message to some other etc etc...

Relationship between Parent and Kid is evolved from pure love. I really enjoy spending time with my daughter, she often tells ( mostly without any specific reason) that she loves me a lot...

When she wakes up from sleep, first she calls 'Daddy...'.If somebody goes to her bed, she will turn from jovial mood except myself.

But having jovial relationships with others will be ideal situation for me, as it gives a great sense of Security / Dependence / Consolation. But everybody should then follow this , otherwise it will be a nice dream of myself only....

Thought of the day

Imagine the situation :

You are insisting/advising on some condition to someone. Despite your insistence , you see that its overruled.[ Forgive me If I am too philosophical / hypothetical ] . Later you see that your advise is taken by that someone, but not taken as your words , but their own decision.What would be your reaction?. ....

I remember a scene from Movie 'KalyanaRaman'. Scene - Ponnikara (Innocent) is serving the food in the Marriage party of Jyothirmayi . To an Old man , innocent politely ask , whether he wants to have some more rice. Subsequently Innocent make repeated requests , but the old man does not say yes..Innocent moves to next person in the row for serving . That time this old man calls from the back and say he wants more rice.. Innocent gets angry and say "ഈഇ നായിണ്ടേ മോനോട് നൂറു തവണ പറഞ്ഞതാ വേണോ വേണോ എന്ന് ....."

I also felt the same feeling in my mind.. But unfortunately that somebody was some one very close to you!!!

ടാറ്റാ ടീ പരസ്യം കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടോ?. വോട്ട് ചെയയു!!, രാക്ഷ്ട്രതോടുള്ള കടമ നിര്‍വഹിക്കു!!.

ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഓഫീസില്‍ ഒരു പറ്റം സഹപ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ കൂടി , ഈ കാമ്പൈന്‍ ഏറ്റു പിടിച്ചു. വോട്ടെര്‍ ലിസ്റ്റ് ഉണ്ടാക്കലായി , ഫോളോ-അപ്പ്‌ sessions ആയി , പിന്നെ എന്തെല്ലാമോ കാട്ടി കൂടി ഇവര്‍!!

ഞാന്‍ ഈയിടെ ഓഫീസിലേക്ക് വരുമ്പോള്‍ ഒരു കാഴ്ച കണ്ടു , സഹപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരില്‍ ചിലര്‍ ട്രാഫിക് നിയമങ്ങള്‍ കാറില്‍ പരത്തി ഡ്രൈവ് ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഹൈദരാബാദില്‍ ഇതൊരു പുതുമയല്ല. എല്ലാവര്ക്കും അവരുടെ സ്വന്തം നിയമങ്ങള്‍. റൈറ്റ് ലൈനില്‍ സ്ലോ ആയി പോകും, ലെഫ്റ്റ് ലൈനില്‍ കൂടി ഓവറ്ടകെ ചെയ്യും, വണഉ വേ യിലുടെ തെറ്റായ ദ്യെരച്റേന്‍ ഓടിച്ചു വരും ( ഹെഡ് ലൈറ്റ് എല്ലാം ഇഇടു , അവരുടെ ആര്‍ക്കോ വായു ഗുളിക വെടിക്കുവാന്‍ പോകുന്നത് പോലെ ) .

ഞാന്‍ പറയുന്നതു , ഇത്തരം ഷോ പിസേസ് ആള്‍കാര്‍ രാഷ്ട്ര നിയമങ്ങളില്‍ അറ്റ്ലീസ്റ്റ് മാതൃക കാണിക്കണം . അല്ലെങ്ങില്‍ നെക്സ്റ്റ് ടൈം അവര്‍ വിളമ്പുന്നത് അവരുടെ മുന്‍പില്‍ കാര്കിച്ചു തുപ്പും.

Movie which I saw recently

Bhaarya Swantham Suhruthu ( Wife is your own friend) .

I saw this movie on Sunday Evening. Good Movie to see. No filled in extra action shots, no unnecessary comedy scenes. Director Venu Nagavalli has done good work in making this movie with a good message.

Mukesh and Jagathi has done good job.

Good Old Songs

I was hearing Malayalam songs of 80-90s. People who enjoyed them will be knowing how soothing them. Some of the songs I heard were from Film 'Deshadanakili Karayarilla , Ennennum Kannettante , Guruji Oru Vakku and Love Story. I came to office with a gloomy mood for unknown reasons , thought will hear some songs. As I keep on hearing , was soothed to great extent. All songs which heard were melodious and mostly sung by Dr KJ Yesudas. From around 11.00 AM IST till now ( 6.30 PM IST) I was hearing these songs except on the lunch break.Do not misunderstand me by thinking that I was only listening to osngs and not working

True colors of Life - Identity

The most important thing a person value is his identity. If he sees that his identity is being honored/acknowledged by other he will be feeling inner happiness definitely.Even if a person says that he does not want to reveal his identity ( context example : donations ) and by mistake, if his name is announced among the donors, the person will definitely feel inner happiness, though he won't be showing it in his face.So far from my observations and self analysis, this is what I understand.

Movie which I saw this week

I saw movie "Ekantham" yesterday.From the film news /review I heard earlier , I thought that this would be an slow and hence boring movie. But yesterday , due to the days hectic office work, I decided to watch this movie as today and tomorrow is weekend. Initially I felt that the movie is in line with what I heard earlier , but as movie progressed , I liked at and towards end , I was really involved in it!.

Small description of the Movie. It talks about the loneliness which People gets as a result of either avoidance of their children or the reluctance of them to leave their old habits etc etc...This movie will give a true picture of the feeling which every one would experience in their life now or at later part of their life. The movie also gives another dimension of the attachments of siblings. To the loneliness , if the company of illness comes, movie shows how painful the life becomes and how the true love can provide the consolation.

In the main thread of the story , a sub-thread portraits the life in a treatment center and gives a true picture of patients of cancer and their feelings.

Actors : Thilakan (Elder brother) , Murali ( Younger brother), Manoj K Jayan (Doctor) and Salim Kumar ( Cancer Patient) acted their role very well.

Nice movie with nice , small but beautiful theme , great message.!!

സംവിധാനത്തിെല സൂക്ഷ്മ പിഴവുകള്‍

I saw the moview Raajamanikyam in 2007 mid. I was having great expections about the director , story etc. This was to a great extent was true.The attarction in this movie was the accent and the language used by mammootty. I heard that this was taught by Suraj Venjaarammoodu.

While observing the movie, one small mistake I noted. In this movie , the grown up hero (mammootty) is with one eye, with other eye as fully damaged in his childhood.Though mammootty wear a Ray-Ban spects all time , he is removing the same in one scene , in-front of his own mother. Here his damaged eye is fully black (one can see and verify).

Nut in one scene , while having his Ray-Ban spects on his face, due to light coming from his back side or not, Ray-ban glass seems to be slightly transparent and in this scene , Mammootty is having his two eyes opened!!

The scene is where Mammootty and Manoj K Jayan meets in the Registrar office.

I was always thrilled by action and crime movies. The most attractive factor in those movies are its dialogues. Dialogues perfect in its meaning and delivery , I believe is a key factor in the success of a movie. Ranji Panicker and S N Swami are very good in writing those kind of punching dialogues.Sometimes the dialogue which was originally framed as a serious shot by director or script writer do its opposite.These then will ultimately result in comedy.[This is solely my opinion]

Movie : Naattu Rajavu
Dialogue : "Pattalavum Parivaarangalum illaatha Naattu Raajavu .Janicha Mannil Kaalurappichu
Nirthaan Padupedunna oru paavam Naattu raajavu. An Extra Ordinary Naattu
raajavu!"

This movies does not cast the hero as a Naaturaajavu , rather hero only could act as a Muthalaali and not sure on what basis the script writer added this part of the dialogue "Janicha Mannil Kaalurappichu Nirthaan Padupedunna oru paavam Naattu raajavu", this has nothing to do with the movie.

Dialogue : "Nookku, Sookshichu Nookku , Mansilayilla ?.. Use your brain?... "

This was told by a vetran police commissioner to senior police officer and his team in this movie.Showing them a small component of AK 47 Gun and ask them to identify the same.Poor guys! , they even might not have even seen AK 47 in thier life.Those guys if they use your brain , how will be able to identify the component?.. .Kalikaala vaibhavam..

This seems to be realistic. Used in its correct meaning.

Excuse me for not remembering neither the movie name nor the director. I must check this with my movie database 'Dikri'.

In this cinema , the story is hi-fi , talking about genetic engineering by which Hitlers is reconstructed in the present world.This movie is having a computer expert. Some of the work where computer expert has done is hacking .That too NASA site. He is achieving this with 'Windows Media Player'.

Windows Media Player plays the visualizations and a Text is shown with Blinking "Hacking NASA..."

This guy also deserve an award from Microsoft for customization/modifying Windows Media Player to hack sites!!.I only remember the actor who played this computer expert role is Jagdeesh.

Think about computers being used by advoctaes in year 2000. Nothing wrong , as that was the time when comps popularity was peeking. This happens in Kerala, famous advocates firm has some 8086 based computers (with big 'dabba' for CPU).

In the cinema, one of the partner advocate is checking something in the files (paper files) and then anxiously looking at the computer screen.What is the great thing which he is checking in computer screen?.Another point to be noted here is the partner advocate is hitting only 'enter' key. Nothing wrong here too , as one can use 'Enter' key for scrolling some DOS Bases spread sheets( such as LOTUS 123). The dialog which this guy delivers at that time is "Check the address with thier madras office". Normally one will think that this guy is checking some address details in Computer.Next scene , knowingly or unknowingly director this time has a shot which clearly covers the computer screen. There one can see whats the advocate anxiously checking. Its nothing but list of directories in C Drive. :) :)

Let me detail another color of the Comedy ( 'by-product comedy' - copyright JCGEORGE) in another cinema.This time too suprisingly , its related to Software and to be precise, on Image Processing.

A traffic policeman , whose wife is running a computer center. This police man is described as a 'Excellent Computer Engineer' in this cinema. Everyday after signing the attendance , vanish from his official duty and go to his wife's computer center.

This policeman is part of the investigation team. He was asked by his Superior police officer (hero in the movie) to test a blood stain is original or fake.Now in the cinema , we will be shown a scene of a computer lab wherein police officers look at the computer and computer software ( I will tell which software was this) correctly tell that this is a real blood stain. I think this police office should have the capability of customizing microsoft paint ,as the blood stain picture is shown in MS Paint with a Text in Bold letter ( blinking!...) that its real blood stain.

This police officer too deserves an award from microsoft for the customization/modification he has done on MS Paint which even bill gates too might not have though about.

Talking on Cinema is real fun. You know , I forgot to mention that I am gonna speak about Malayalam cinema that too Cinema comedy.Not the comedy inserted by the script writer or director into the cinema, rather about the by-product comedy of serious / normal scenes in the cinema.I am not responsible if readers interpret this as a cheap criticism :) :)

Well lets start with the latest cinema and further take you backwards till 80s (thats the time when I started watching cinema seriously).

One of my favorite themes in Cinema is Crime/Family Stories based on Computer!.In my observation , most of the comedy ( by-product comedy!) is based on computers.Actors being very good IT Professionals, act too smartly in scenes from where IT Professionals like me can take wonderful ideas , which I think if we implement will fetch Millions of dollars!

Let me start with one such great idea, to be precise, its on image processing. By getting rear view of a solid (in Cinema its a persons head), the software will predict its other side. Interestingly in the cinema , the hero claims that he developed this for NASA.( I hope this actor would have been having a internal longing to become a software professional). I wonder why NASA requires this software .May be they wanted to create a full 3D image of an alien , whose photo is taken from the satellite :) :). This movie's name is 'Indraprastham' and the director is Haridas.Hero is none other than Mammootty.

Also in this cinema ,there is a song based on the theme internet .Starts with "Dekho Simple Magic, Internetting Magic , Manichithra melaappu...." which means , Look at the magic of Internet , its like a beautiful decorated roof.
